Dear Volunteer,

Thank you for your support of the 6^th annual Charles Schwab Cup Championship at the Sonoma Golf Club in Sonoma, CA. The success of the Championship relies heavily upon the efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Your hard work and continued support will help to make this year’s tournament another huge success. The 2008 Charles Schwab Cup Championship dates are October 27^th – November 2^nd.

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP: On this site, you will find the NEW and IMPROVED ON-LINE 2008 Charles Schwab Cup Championship Volunteer Application. Please take your time and fill out all of the necessary pages to complete your application. We are offering an EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT again this year.  All volunteers who sign up for the 2008 Championship before July 1, 2008 will receive a $10 discount.

COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS: Committee assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis. Every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice of assignment. If all of the committees that you have selected have been filled, someone from the Championship office will contact you before assigning you to another committee. Once your application is received and processed, your committee chair will contact you regarding your work schedules and shifts. You will also receive a letter from the Championship office confirming your committee assignment, providing you with your committee chair contact information, training session information (if necessary) and uniform distribution dates and times. We ask that each volunteer work at least 16 hours during Championship Week.

VOLUNTEER PACKAGE: This year’s volunteer package is $85. The package includes a volunteer badge valid for the entire week of the Championship, a Cutter and Buck logoed golf shirt, a Cutter and Buck logoed outerwear piece, a baseball hat or women’s visor, admission to the Volunteer Party at Cline Cellars Winery on Saturday, October 25th and a lunch voucher for purchasing food on the days that you work.

APPAREL: This year’s volunteer uniform will consist of a Cutter & Buck DryTec^TM Luxe Dimension Polo in Sea Blue and a Cutter & Buck Windtec Active Full Zip Windshirt in Navy Blue in both men’s and women’s sizes, as well as a Navy logoed Charles Schwab Cup Championship baseball hat or visor. We ask volunteers to wear KHAKI pants. All uniforms will be picked up at the Sonoma Golf Club on one of two uniform distribution days in October.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS: Apparel - You may order additional Charles Schwab Cup Championship apparel such as Cutter & Buck logoed golf shirts, Cutter & Buck logoed outerwear pieces, logoed baseball hats or women’s visors, a NEW logoed Straw hat under the Additional Items section of the enclosed volunteer application. Tickets - Additional tickets and Wine Festival upgrades can also be purchased in this section.
