Dear Volunteer Team Member,

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship will be held at Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona from November 4-10, 2024. This is the event’s 8th year at this historic venue, and we are excited to continue growing our partnerships within the local Phoenix and Scottsdale communities.

Annually, the tournament is the season finale and final leg of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs featuring the top 36 Charles Schwab Cup points leaders, competing for the PGA TOUR Champions most coveted title: Charles Schwab Cup champion and crowing the Charles Schwab Cup Championship champion. The 2024 Charles Schwab Cup Championship is a four-day, 72-hole, stroke-play competition with no cut.

The volunteer force is a vital part of our success, and we thank you for your interest in supporting professional golf in Phoenix.

To reserve your place as a Charles Schwab Cup Championship volunteer, please note the following:

Volunteer Registration: Complete and submit your online application form with your payment. Committees will be filled on a first come, first served basis (you can’t hold a spot without payment), so please register early to ensure your preferred committee of choice.

  • If you are returning 2023 tournament volunteer, your volunteer package cost is $65 prior to April 22, 2024.
  • All 2023 and new volunteers who register after April 22nd the volunteer package cost is $70.
  • After your application has been submitted, you should have received a confirmation email summarizing your registration for the 2024 Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Once assigned to a committee, your chairman should be in touch with you by mid-September to coordinate your schedule.

Payment: Your volunteer package payment allows us to offset costs and thereby donate more funds to the local community.

Refunds will only be given for emergency situations or health concerns, not if you are unsatisfied with your committee assignment. Refunds will not be given after October 18 or after your volunteer package has been picked up.

Committee Assignments: You may choose three (3) committee preferences, but you will only be placed in one committee. Please be sure to read the Committee Descriptions to ensure that you understand the time commitment for certain committees (CLICK HERE).

Requirements: Volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate and are required to work a minimum of three (3) days assigned by your Committee Chairman. Shift lengths vary between committees so take this into consideration when selecting your committees. All volunteers are required to provide availability for at least one (1) weekday and one (1) day on the weekend. Some committee have a mandatory training session prior to tournament week.

Apparel: All volunteers, committee chairmen and division chairmen are required to purchase and wear the 2024 Official Volunteer Uniform package which includes a golf shirt and outerwear (provided by Levelwear) and matching headwear (provided by Ahead). Reminder: Volunteers are allowed to wear shorts! Men must wear khaki pants or shorts. Ladies can wear khaki capris, pants or knee length shorts or skorts.

* Junior Youth and College volunteers will receive complimentary volunteer packages and have different uniform requirements. Please visit the volunteer website for further detail.

Volunteer Badge: Your Volunteer badge will admit you to the Championship, Wednesday through Sunday. This badge is general admission grounds access only, Volunteer HQ and working access into your designated place of assignment for your committee. Your volunteer uniform should ONLY be worn on the days you are volunteering.

Volunteer Meals: Every volunteer will receive one meal voucher per working day which can be redeemed throughout the day at various concessions. Coffee and donuts are complimentary in the morning at Volunteer HQ.
