Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Dominion Energy Charity Classic volunteer program presented by Drive Shack! The Dominion Energy Charity Classic is the first event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoff series featuring the top-72 players on PGA TOUR Champions. In its short history, the tournament has been the recipient of the 2022 PGA TOUR Champions Presidents Award as well as the Players Award in 2016, 2017 and 2019. The 2023 tournament will be hosted October 16-22 at The Country Club of Virginia, James River Course.

Volunteers are integral to the success of the Dominion Energy Charity Classic. Over the past seven years, the tournament has relied on over 1,000 volunteers across 25 committees to help successfully execute the event. Please see below or visit our volunteer guide for important information relating to this year’s volunteer program.

*Junior volunteers are welcome to volunteer at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic as a Standard Bearer (ages 13-18) or Pro-Am Caddie (ages 15-18).

REGISTRATION AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
Prior to registering, please carefully review Committee Descriptions to learn more about the various opportunities and committee considerations. You will be required to identify your top two committee choices when you register. Once you submit your registration, it will be reviewed by tournament staff and within approximately two weeks you will receive a confirmation email with your committee assignment. Registration is first-come, first-served. The tournament cannot guarantee placement on any committee, but will make every effort to accommodate your first preference.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMMITMENT
All volunteers are required to work at least two shifts but are encouraged to work three. In signing up to volunteer, you are committing to your designated Committee Chairman and fellow volunteers. We ask that if you have any conflicts that arise after you register to please notify your Committee Chairman and the tournament staff immediately.

VOLUNTEER PACKAGE
All volunteers* are required to purchase the $90 Dominion Energy Charity Classic volunteer package (retail value of over $300). Details about the volunteer package can be found here.
*There is no package fee for Rideshare, Pro-Am Caddie or Junior Standard Bearers.

VOLUNTEER SAFETY
We prioritize a culture of safety within the Dominion Energy Charity Classic Volunteer Program. All volunteers must review the PGA TOUR’s Volunteer Terms & Conditions and understand the safety protocols for their assigned committee.
