BALL POSITION
|
The Ball Position committee supports scoring and data collection for the competition. Volunteers on this committee are responsible for determining ball position information to record various aspects of player statistics, including but not limited to stroke distance, stroke location, and distance to the hole. Volunteers on this committee will be assigned to specific holes and locations (Fairway or Green). If selected for this committee, you should be comfortable using technology, be able to stand or walk, and have some golf knowledge. Committee training: On-site training will be provided and strongly encouraged for volunteers on this committee on pro-am day during tournament week. Committee days: This committee is operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday Average shift Duration: 6 hours

BROADCAST DRIVERS
|
The Broadcast Drivers committee assists the event broadcast team with production needs during the event. Volunteers will drive LIV Golf broadcast talent throughout the competition round. Knowledge of golf, course, and ability to work all three days of competition is preferred. Committee training: Committee training and a course tour will be provided on-site during tournament week. Committee Days: Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 7 hours

FAN SERVICES
|
The Fan Services committee plays an integral role in facilitating the ADA Guest and Fan experience plan for each event. Volunteers in this committee are responsible for managing the Fans Services ADA Shuttles tents and providing general tournament information to spectators regarding on course hospitality locations and other points of interest, and supporting the admissions process for all guests on-site. Additionally, volunteers on this committee will be responsible for providing golf cart transportation for spectators with disabilities, to designated areas on the golf course. Volunteers must be 25 years of age or older to drive golf carts. Committee training: Training will be provided virtually, leading up to the tournament and onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: This committee is operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 4-5 Hours

HOSPITALITY SERVICES
|
The Hospitality Services committee supports our Guest Experience (GE) Team and related GE activities during the event. Volunteers on this committee will be assigned to hospitality venues and are responsible for greeting guests and checking for proper credentials and tickets at venue entrances. Additionally, volunteers on this committee will assist the GE team with answering spectator questions and providing information regarding the event and the venue they are assigned to. Committee members must be able to use ticket or credential scanning devices, stand for extended periods of time and work outside. Committee training: Training will be provided virtually, leading up to the tournament and onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: This committee is only operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 4-5 Hours

MARSHALS
|
The Marshals committee supports competition by ensuring golfers can compete uninterrupted during play. Marshal responsibilities include providing gallery control, assist in player movement, help locate errant golf shots and provide spectators with general information as needed. Marshals may also assist with player and caddie transportation via golf cart at the beginning of and after play, transitioning from green to tee on designated holes and on and off the course due to rain delays or whenever deemed necessary. This committee requires standing for extended periods of time in addition to walking to various positions around the assigned hole. Marshal hole assignments will be provided leading up to the tournament or during tournament week. Committee training: Marshal training will be provided virtually, leading up to the tournament and onsite the day of your first shift (as needed). Committee days: This committee is operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 6 hours

PLAYER SHUTTLE CAPTAINS/MARSHALS
|
The Player Shuttle/Marshals committee will assist with player and caddie transportation via golf cart at the beginning of play and after play, transitioning from green to tee on designated holes and on and off the course due to rain delays or whenever deemed necessary. This committee will also assist with marshaling around the greens and from green to tee player exit/entrances during the round. This committee requires standing for extended periods of time in addition to walking to various positions around the assigned hole. Committee training: Player Shuttle Marshal training will be provided virtually, leading up to the tournament and onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 6 hours

PRACTICE AREAS
|
The Practice Areas committee assists the host club with managing the driving range and practice facilities during tournament week. Volunteers on this committee will provide gallery control of the practice areas and regulate access to and from all practice facilities, sort and distribute practice range balls, distribute and collect caddie bibs (Pro-am day and competition days), provide various supplies as requested by players and caddies and assist with driving player shuttles from practice area to designated areas on the course as needed. Committee training: Committee training will be provided onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: This committee is active during practice rounds and competition rounds; Monday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 4-5 hours

STANDARD BEARERS
|
The Standard Bearer committee communicates the live score of each group during competition via a scoring sign (standard). Volunteers in this committee will walk 18 holes carrying a scoring sign (standard) for an assigned group during LIV Golf competition rounds. Volunteers will be required to walk 18 holes and must be able to hold 15 pounds while walking. Committee training: Training will be provided virtually, leading up to the tournament and on-site during tournament week. Committee days: This committee is only operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 6 hours

SUPER SPOTTERS
|
The Super Spotters committee supports LIV Golf’s TV Production team by providing live competition updates. Volunteers on this committee will be assigned to a player group and will walk ahead of the assigned group during competition - communicating play information/updates as prompted by the production team via radio headset. Volunteers assigned to this committee must speak fluent English and have golf knowledge. Additionally, committee members must be able to walk 18 holes for the duration of their shift and be able to use a radio headset to communicate with tournament officials. Committee training: On-site training will be provided for volunteers on this committee during tournament week. Committee days: This committee is only operational during competition days; Friday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 6 hours

SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION
|
The Supply Distribution committee oversees the distribution of beverages and ice for players, caddies and event staff during the tournament. Volunteers on this committee will be responsible for inventorying, distributing and maintaining tournament supplies such as ice, waters, and isotonic. Volunteers may also help with the check-in and distribution of incoming packages to various locations, as directed by tournament staff. Volunteers on this committee must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and must be 25 years of age or older with a valid, U.S. issued driver’s license to drive supply distribution utility golf carts. Committee training: Committee training will be provided onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: This committee is active during practice rounds and competition rounds; Monday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 4-5 hours

VOLUNTEER SERVICES & SPECIAL EVENTS

The Volunteer Services and Special Events committee assists the volunteer team with overseeing the volunteer headquarters and providing hospitality during tournament week. Additionally, volunteers on this committee will assist with special events (pro-am/ player autographs) and projects as directed by staff. Committee responsibilities include managing the volunteer check in process, distributing volunteer gifts and supplies, and maintaining a clean and supportive meeting place for the volunteer team during tournament week. Additionally, volunteers may assist with credential distribution, Pro-am, and player gifting. Committee training: Training will be provided onsite the day of your first shift. Committee days: This committee is active during practice rounds and competition rounds; Monday – Sunday. Average shift duration: 4-5 hours
