Provide gallery control for the tournament. Assigned to a specific hole or location for the week. Shifts are outside in direct sunlight and the elements.
Hospitality
Provide information and assistance to corporate clients. Ensure that only properly credentialed clients are allowed in hospitality areas. Assist Gallery Management with noise control as necessary when players are approaching hospitality areas.

SHOTLink Mobile Spotter
FORMERLY Location Based Operator AND Spotter committees: Under the leadership of the Scoring Tech, the Mobile Spotters will help locate and flag shots that miss the fairway/green, assist with ball flight from the tee, and relay pertinent information to the Scoring Tech such as penalty situations, obstructed shots, and detailed from locations. This new role will help deliver real-time distance data and statistics to be immediately computed and distributed to Scoreboards, TV, Internet, Gaming, and Mobile Applications. Volunteers should have a basic knowledge of the game of golf and a commitment to timeliness, accuracy, and attention to detail. All Mobile Spotters should be physically able to walk around their assigned hole for the duration of their shift in potentially varied weather conditions. Quickly locating shots not in view for the Scoring Tech or Camera System is a key function of this role as it is vital to be able to gain accurate insight into the location of each shot.
Supply and Distribution
Distribute all F&B products into/out of Volunteer Headquarters, including, but not limited to: all refreshments for the tournament and volunteer lunches. Assist with Uniform Distribution and Merchandise Tent at Volunteer Headquarters.
Transportation (On-Course)
Transport professional golfers, caddies, walking scorers, and honorary observers between various holes on the course. Assist in moving volunteers from Volunteer Headquarters on and off the course in the mornings/evenings. Manage ADA shuttling. Assist in weather evacuation if needed.
Transportation (On-Road)
Transport media and Plantation House personnel to/from the Plantation House/Media Center. Moves all volunteers from the Volunteer Parking Lot, to/from Volunteer Headquarters.
Walking Scorer
Accompany each group of players during tournament rounds and will record the scores and statistics of play on a handheld scoring device. PLEASE NOTE: Walking Scorer volunteers must be able to walk all 18 holes with their group and must understand basic stroke counting. Shifts will be outside in direct sunlight and the elements.
