Dear Interested Volunteer,

The 2020 World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play will be held at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas from March 23 – 29, 2020. This is the event’s fifth year at this venue we are excited to continue building relationships in this community and to be able to highlight such a wonderful city and golf course.

Since 1999, the World Golf Championships series has distributed more than $50 million to charities worldwide. The PGA TOUR has surpassed $2 billion in charitable dollars generated by its tournaments, more than the NFL, NBA, and NHL combined. Our volunteer program directly impacts these charitable efforts and we greatly appreciate your participation in this endeavor. We look forward to having you join us for another successful year!

Volunteer Registration: Please complete and submit this online application with your $100.00 payment as soon as possible. Committees will be filled on a first come, first serve basis so please register early to ensure your spot. Refunds will not be given after March 20, 2020 or after your volunteer package has been picked up. Refunds will only be given for emergency situations. No applications will be accepted after March 16, 2020.

Requirements: Youth volunteers must be between 13 – 18 years of age as of March 23, 2020. All other volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate and are required to work shifts on a minimum of 3 days. Shift lengths vary between committees and Marshals and Lasers are required to work full day shifts. Each committee will have a mandatory training session prior to Championship Week.

Committee Assignments: You may choose three committee preferences, but you will only be placed in one committee. We cannot guarantee assignments, but we will make every effort to accommodate your first preference. Please be sure to read the Committee Descriptions to ensure that you understand the time commitment for certain committees.

Apparel: The required volunteer package consists of one golf shirt, one jacket, and one baseball cap OR visor. It is your responsibility to provide your own khaki colored pants. Knee-length khaki shorts may be worn. Women may wear full or capri length khaki pants. Uniform distribution will take place in March 2020 and specific dates will be announced at a later date.

Volunteer Badge: Your volunteer badge will admit you to the Championship, Monday through Sunday. This badge will grant you grounds access to the event and use of Volunteer Headquarters is for working volunteers only. Your volunteer uniform should ONLY be worn on the days you are working.

Meal Vouchers: Every volunteer will receive one meal voucher per working day which can be redeemed throughout the day at various locations. Continental breakfast is complimentary in the morning.

Party: Come join your fellow volunteers for the Volunteer Appreciation Party. Date and time have yet to be determined. Invitations will be sent to all registered volunteers prior to the event.

Payment: Your volunteer package payment ($100.00) allows us to offset costs and thereby donate more funds to local charities. Thank you for assisting us in this endeavor. (Youth volunteer packages are offered free of charge).
